MCC Women’s Come and Try Session a Great Success
Sunday 14th September was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of cricket action at Mulgrave Reserve, as the Mulgrave Cricket Club hosted a fantastic Women’s Come and Try session.
With the sun shining and spirits high, local women of all ages and skill levels came together to give cricket a go in a relaxed, welcoming environment. From batting and bowling drills to mini-games and catching challenges, there was something for everyone, whether picking up a bat for the first time or dusting off old skills.
The session was a hit, with lots of laughs shared on and off the pitch. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, learn the basics of the game, and get a feel for what it’s like to be part of a vibrant, community-focused cricket club.
Club representatives were thrilled with the turnout and enthusiasm, with many attendees already looking forward to lacing up their shoes for the upcoming season.
With the women’s cricket competition set to kick off in mid-October, excitement is definitely building. The club is still welcoming new players, so it’s not too late to get involved.
Whether you're a seasoned player or just curious to try something new, the Mulgrave Cricket Club has a place for you. See you on the field!
